The crowd at Tuesday's non-league outing between the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) and the visiting Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR), witnessed Valley View's softball team edge Riverside by a margin of 5-1.

The Blazers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Memphis for a 5A East outing on Tuesday, March 18.

With the loss, Riverside moves to 1-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to encounter the Mustangs in a 2A Region 3 outing on Thursday, March 13.
