The Southside Tigers softball squad (Greenville, SC), was routed 19-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Thornwell Saints (Clinton, SC)

With the triumph, Thornwell improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Saints travel to Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC) to face the Blue Flashes in a A Region 1 contest on Friday, March 13. The Blue Flashes enter the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Tigers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Emerald for a AAAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, March 24.
