Louisiana High School Softball - West Monroe bounces Buckeye
March 12, 2021: West Monroe, LA 71291 West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA), 21-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Rebels now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Grant for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 13. West Monroe will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Buckeye falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 15. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
