The East Central Hornets baseball team (Moss Point, MS), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Baker Hornets (Mobile, AL)

The Hornets now hold a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saraland for a non-league test on Friday, March 15. Baker will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 10-5.

With the defeat, East Central falls to 6-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Greene County (Leakesville, MS) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-5.
