March 12, 2024: Iota, LA 70543 Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA), 9-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Iota upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A District 4 test on Thursday, March 14. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-5. Ville Platte lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Oberlin (Oberlin, LA)
With the defeat, Kaplan falls to 4-8 on the season. The Pirates travel to Kinder (Kinder, LA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, March 15. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 6-9. Kinder lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Welsh (Welsh, LA)
