Georgia High School Baseball - Rockmart holds off Lovett
March 12, 2024: Atlanta, GA 30327 Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lovett Lions (Atlanta, GA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rockmart upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, March 14. The Indians come into the test with a record of 10-6. East Coweta won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA)
With the defeat, Lovett falls to 6-6 on the season. The Lions host Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Knights in a 4A Area 5 test on Wednesday, March 13. The Knights come into the test with a record of 3-3. Pace Academy lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Campbell (Smyrna, GA)
