Next, the Dragons face the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) in a 5A Region 8 contest, on Friday, March 15. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 3-6 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA).
The Warriors now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cherokee Bluff for a 4A Region 8 challenge on Thursday, March 14. Walnut Grove will confront a Bears team coming off a 7-0 league win over North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 8-3.
