North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Athens Drive drops to Apex
March 12, 2024: Apex, NC 27502 Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), 12-1 in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apex Friendship for a battle on Thursday, March 14. Apex will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 14. Athens Drive will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC).
