California High School Softball - Del Norte bounces Carlsbad
March 12, 2024: Carlsbad, CA 92008 Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Nighthawks now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Point Loma for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. Del Norte will battle a Pointers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Westview (San Diego, CA). The Pointers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Carlsbad falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Valley Center (Valley Center, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 0-6. Valley Center lost 22-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA)
