March 12, 2024: Los Lunas, NM 87031 The Los Lunas Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Volcano Vista Hawks to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Los Lunas moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, March 15. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Piedra Vista lost 13-8 in their recent non-league battle against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
The Hawks now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Manzano for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 14. Volcano Vista will meet a Monarchs squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-2.
