Georgia High School Soccer - Dougherty knocks off Monroe
March 12, 2024: Albany, GA 31701 Dougherty Trojans (Albany, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA) in a 3A Area 1 test, on Friday, March 15. Dougherty will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 10-0 league win over Carver (Columbus, GA).
With the loss, Monroe drops to 0-9 on the season. The Golden tornadoes travel to Carver (Columbus, GA) to meet the Tigers in a 3A Area 1 test on Thursday, March 14. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-6. Carver lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Crisp County (Cordele, GA)
