South Carolina High School Soccer - Wren nudges Laurens
March 12, 2024: Piedmont, SC 29673 Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hurricanes confront the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Wednesday, March 13. Wren will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 6-0 league win over Southside (Greenville, SC).
The Raiders now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 15. Laurens will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 league win over Greer (Greer, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
