California High School Softball - El Modena bounces Foothill
March 12, 2024: Santa Ana, CA 92705 El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Vanguards now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Canyon for a Crestview challenge on Thursday, March 14. El Modena will battle a Comanches squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Comanches record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Foothill falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a North Hills challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Yorba Linda won 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA)
