The Benjamin Russell Wildcats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Valley Rams to 8 in the Wildcats non-league win on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Beauregard for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Benjamin Russell will play a Hornets team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Smiths Station (Smiths, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 8-7.

With the defeat, Valley drops to 12-3 on the year. The Rams travel to Elmore County (Eclectic, AL) to play the Panthers in a 5A Area 6 test on Tuesday, March 18.
