March 12, 2025: Walterboro, SC 29488 The Berkeley Stags baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Colleton County Cougars to 1 in the Stags non-league win on Wednesday.
The Stags now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hilton Head Island for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Berkeley will play a Seahawks team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Colleton County drops to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars host Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to face the Cobras in a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. The Cobras enter the battle with a record of 3-0. Cane Bay won 13-5 in their recent non-league battle against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC)
