The Elmore County Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Calera Eagles to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Panthers now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Shelby County for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Elmore County will play a Wildcats team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-6.

With the defeat, Calera drops to 5-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Bibb County (Centreville, AL) to play the Choctaws in a non-league test on Friday, March 14.
