The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) and the host Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets (Amite, LA), saw Lafayette's baseball team gain a win over Oak Forest Academy by a tally of 5-1.

The Commodores (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Second Baptist (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Second Baptist held off Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 13. Oak Forest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
