Georgia High School Baseball - Mary Persons prevails West Laurens
March 12, 2025: Dexter, GA 31019 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) and the host West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA), saw Mary Persons's baseball team gain a win over West Laurens by a tally of 17-8.
The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers enter the AAA Region 2 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Troup County prevailed over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 16-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Raiders face the Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 battle, on Friday, March 14. West Laurens will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 22-8 non-league loss to Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA).
