North Carolina High School Soccer - South Caldwell Foard
March 12, 2025: Newton, NC 28658 Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Foard moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Statesville (Statesville, NC) to clash with the Greyhounds in a Western Foothills 3A test on Tuesday, March 18. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 0-2. Statesville lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host McDowell for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. South Caldwell will clash with a Titans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Titans record now stands at 0-4.
