Florida High School Lacrosse - Miami Country Day can't hold off Canterbury
March 12, 2025: Fort Myers, FL 33919 Canterbury Cougars (Fort Myers, FL) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Miami Country Day Spartans (Miami, FL), 1-0 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Canterbury advances its record to 9-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Friday, March 14. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 5-2. Gulliver Prep won 13-7 in their recent non-league game against American Heritage (Plantation, FL)
The Spartans now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keys Gate for a non-league game on Monday, March 17. Miami Country Day will play a Knights team coming off a 23-1 league loss to Florida Christian (Miami, FL). The Knights record now stands at 0-2.
