Georgia High School Lacrosse - Southwest DeKalb drops to Woodward Academy
March 12, 2025: College Park, GA 30337 Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA), 20-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Woodward Academy improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The War Eagles travel to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, March 14. The Indians come into the game with a record of 1-6. McEachern lost 8-3 in their recent non-league game against Jackson (Atlanta, GA)
The Panthers now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midtown for a 1A Area 4 game on Friday, March 14. Southwest DeKalb will play a Knights team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
