The South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) softball routed the host Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC), 17-12 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Stallions now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to A.C. Flora for a AAAA Region 3 outing on Thursday, March 13. South Pointe will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 15-1 league win over South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Spring Valley moves to 0-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Sumter (Sumter, SC) to encounter the Gamecocks in a AAAAA Region 5 outing on Thursday, March 13. The Gamecocks come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Sumter won 15-0 in their recent league outing against Spring Valley (Columbia, SC)
