The Mustangs now hold a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covenant Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 16. Assumption will face a Lions team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.
Next, the Eagles face the Scotlandville Hornets (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 16. St. John will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 3-5 record after their 17-7 non-league win over White Castle (White Castle, LA).
