Alabama High School Baseball - Glenwood gets by Cook
March 13, 2021: Phenix City, AL 36868 Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), 7-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Glenwood upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Gators host Hardaway (Columbus, GA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 15. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-5. Hardaway lost 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)
With the defeat, Cook falls to 5-7 on the season. The Hornets travel to Berrien (Nashville, GA) to battle the Rebels in a AA Region 1 test on Wednesday, March 17. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 3-9. Berrien lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA)
