March 13, 2023: LaFayette, GA 30728 In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Rome Wolves baseball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the LaFayette Ramblers.
The Wolves (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Buccaneers go into the 6A Area 6 game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Allatoona tipped Etowah (Woodstock, GA), 3-2, in a league game.
The Ramblers (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA). The Warriors go into the 3A Area 6 game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe by Heritage (Ringgold, GA), 4-3, in a non-league game.
