The St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) basketball nipped the host Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), 57-52 in Monday's non-league test.

The Saints (21-4) will now prepare for their test against Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI). The Hematites go into the non-league test with a 14-11 record. In their last test, Ishpeming got by Menominee (Menominee, MI), 56-50, in a non-league test.

The Braves now own a 19-6 record.
