In Monday's non-league contest, the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball squad knocked off the host Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 13. Sierra Vista will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 13-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ).
