North Carolina High School Softball - West Mecklenburg bounces Harding University
March 13, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28208 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) and the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC), witnessed West Mecklenburg's softball squad tip Harding University by a count of 15-11.
The Hawks now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hough for a Queen City 3A/4A match on Tuesday, March 14. West Mecklenburg will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Harding University moves to 1-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Berry (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Cardinal in a So Meck 4A match on Tuesday, March 14. The Cardinal go into the match with a record of 2-2. Berry won 10-9 in their recent non-league match against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC)
