March 13, 2024: Walnut Ridge, AR 72476 Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 11-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Walnut Ridge upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Bobcats host Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, March 14. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-3. Nettleton lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR)
With the defeat, Westside falls to 2-5 on the season. The Warriors host Highland (Hardy, AR) to battle the Rebels in a 4A Region 3 test on Thursday, March 14. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 6-1. Highland won 8-7 in their recent league test against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR)
