Alaska High School Basketball - Emmonak ripped by Kake
March 13, 2024: Emmonak, AK 99581 The Kake Thunderbirds basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Emmonak Huskies to 44 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 24-0 record. They play next when they travel to Shaktoolik for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 14. Kake will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Napaaqtugmiut (Noatak, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-5.
Next up, the Huskies play the Napaaqtugmiut Lynx (Noatak, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 14. Emmonak will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Lynx come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 59-50 non-league loss to Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK).
