March 13, 2024: Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they saw their soccer squad knock off the visiting Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Grenadiers now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Taft for a non-league test on Thursday, March 14. Elk Grove will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Maine South drops to 1-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Maine West (Des Plaines, IL) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, March 14.
