March 13, 2024: Mayodan, NC 27027 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) and the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), saw McMichael's baseball squad knock off South Stokes by a count of 9-0.
Coming up next, the Phoenix play the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 14. McMichael will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
The Sauras now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Airy for a battle on Tuesday, March 19. South Stokes will play a Granite Bears squad coming off a 9-3 league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 4-0.
