In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) lacrosse squad edged the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), by a count of 9-8.

Coming up next, the Pointers confront the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 15. Point Loma will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 10-3 non-league win over West Hills (Santee, CA).
