North Carolina High School Baseball - Montgomery Central defeats Anson
March 13, 2025: Wadesboro, NC 28170 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) and the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), saw Montgomery Central's baseball team gain a win over Anson by a tally of 9-4.
The Timberwolves (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, North Davidson was overwhelmed by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 10-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bearcats face the Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 14. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
