Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 5-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Apex Friendship moves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Patriots host Green Hope (Cary, NC) to battle the Falcons in a Southwest Wake 4A match on Monday, March 17. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 3-6. Green Hope lost 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Laney (Wilmington, NC)

The Mustangs now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holly Springs for a Southwest Wake 4A match on Monday, March 17. Middle Creek will battle a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
