In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops baseball team scored a close 5-0 victory over the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion.

The Bishops (1-1) will now prepare for their game against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, High Point Christian Academy held off North Davidson (Lexington, NC), 4-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Lion face the Friendship Christian Falcons (Raleigh, NC) in a Raleigh Area Athletic game, on Friday, March 14.
