The Crest Chargers softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Huss Huskies to 0 in the Chargers league win on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Gaston for a Big South 3A battle on Tuesday, March 18. Crest will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 20-7 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Huss moves to 0-2 on the season. The Huskies host Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Jaguars in a Big South 3A battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 2-5. Forestview won 8-7 in their recent league battle against South Point (Belmont, NC)
