The May River Sharks softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting John Paul II Golden Warrriors to 7 in the Sharks non-league win on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Island for a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. May River will confront a Trojans team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, John Paul II moves to 0-1 on the season. The Golden warrriors host Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC) to confront the Swampcats in a battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Swampcats come into the battle with a record of 8-1.
