The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA) and the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA), saw El Rancho's baseball team get by Roosevelt by a tally of 2-1.

The Dons (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Chiefs enter the Del Rio battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe was tipped by Warren (Downey, CA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.

In their next game, the Rough Riders confront the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastern contest, on Monday, March 16. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA).
