The Enterprise Hornets the visiting Yreka Miners baseball team by a count of 6-2 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Red Bluff for a Eastern test on Tuesday, March 17. Enterprise will play a Spartans team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Yreka drops to 1-5 on the year. The Miners host Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 17. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a record of 6-1. Los Molinos won 12-0 in their recent non-league outing against South Fork (Miranda, CA)
