The Uintah Utes softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Crimson Cliffs Mustangs to 1 in the Utes non-league win on Friday.

The Utes now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bingham for a non-league test on Saturday, March 14. Uintah will meet a Miners squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over South Sevier (Monroe, UT). The Miners record now stands at 1-3.

The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Murray (Murray, UT). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Murray was routed by Bingham (South Jordan, UT), 17-1, in a non-league test.
