Tennessee High School Softball - Meigs County succumbs to East Ridge

March 13, 2026: Decatur, TN 37322

In Friday's non-league test, the East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN), by a tally of 14-0.

Next, the Knights encounter the West Orange Warriors (Winter Garden, FL) in a 7A District 5 outing, on Tuesday, March 24. East Ridge will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL).

With the loss, Meigs County moves to 2-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mulberry (Mulberry, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Mulberry lost 9-2 in their recent non-league bout against George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL)
