San Pasqual Golden Eagles (Escondido, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Camino for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. San Pasqual will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over University City (San Diego, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Point Loma falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Pointers host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Steele Canyon won 22-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA)
