Louisiana High School Baseball - Ruston can't hold off Airline
March 14, 2023: Bossier City, LA 71111 In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Airline Vikings baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Ruston Bearcats.
The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Yellow Jackets go into the 5A District 1 game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Byrd was edged by West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 6-0, in a non-league game.
The Bearcats (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Alexandria (Alexandria, LA). The Trojans go into the 5A District 2 game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Alexandria was edged by Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA), 9-6, in a non-league game.
