The Fort Myers Green Wave the host Cypress Lake Panthers baseball team by a count of 7-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Green Wave now possess a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host IMG Academy White for a non-league bout on Friday, March 17. Fort Myers will face a Ascenders team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate (Tampa, FL). The Ascenders record now stands at 5-3.

Next, the Panthers face the Lemon Bay Manta Rays (Englewood, FL) in a 4A District 12 bout, on Wednesday, March 15. Cypress Lake will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Manta Rays enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Ida Baker (Cape Coral, FL).
