Georgia High School Soccer - Wheeler knocks off Berkmar
March 14, 2023: Marietta, GA 30068 Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) in a 7A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, March 17. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Walton (Marietta, GA).
The Patriots now possess a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Peachtree Ridge for a 7A Region 7 challenge on Friday, March 17. Berkmar will confront a Lions team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-6.
