Virginia High School Soccer - Western Albemarle knocks off Collegiate
March 14, 2023: Richmond, VA 23229 Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Western Albemarle will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
The Cougars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Veritas School for a LIS challenge on Friday, March 17. Collegiate will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
