Georgia High School Soccer - Houston County knocks off Academy for Classical Education
March 14, 2023: Macon, GA 31210 Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears confront the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) in a 6A Area 1 challenge, on Friday, March 17. Houston County will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA).
The Gryphons now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Spencer for a 2A Area 2 challenge on Friday, March 17. Academy for Classical Education will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 4-0 league win over Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 8-0.
