In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) baseball squad edged the host Arlington Tigers (Arlington, TN), by a final score of 7-6.

With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Chargers host Collierville (Collierville, TN) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Dragons enter the contest with a record of 5-2.

The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Germantown for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 14. Arlington will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Petal (Petal, MS). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-3.
