Georgia High School Baseball - Evans defeats South Effingham
March 14, 2024: Guyton, GA 31312 Evans Knights (Evans, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA), 10-3 in a league test.
With the win, Evans upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to battle the Rebels in a 6A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 19. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 5-9.
With the defeat, South Effingham falls to 9-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lakeside (Evans, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 6A Area 2 test on Tuesday, March 19. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-9. Lakeside lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA)
